The eBond concept has been around for many years. As the ACE project is moving forward, the filing of bonds in an electronic environment is imperative. CBP has begun development of eBond which is set to deploy in January of 2015. At that time, all single transaction bond entries filed in ACE will require an eSTB. Further in November 2015, CBP will require ALL entries to be filed in ACE.
