Michalle Cooper joined Roanoke Insurance Group in 2024 as a Senior Business Development Executive, bringing a lifetime of experience in the transportation industry. She is responsible for driving new business across Roanoke’s full portfolio of solutions. This includes providing tailored cargo, warehouse, E&O, and cyber insurance, along with surety bonds and ATA Carnets to logistics providers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other transportation-related businesses to grow their business and safeguard their assets.   

Throughout her career, Michalle has been a part of the many facets of the transportation industry. She began at 15 answering phones at Superior Transportation and later became Operations Manager, overseeing freight movements and resolving complex customer challenges. Michalle then served more than 12 years at Price Transfer as Director of Sales and Marketing, where she worked closely with customs brokers and managed relationships to ensure clients used the company’s centralized exam site for U.S. Customs inspections. Before joining Roanoke, Michalle managed freight movements both domestically and internationally, giving her first-hand insight into the operational and compliance needs of the clients she now serves. 

In her role at Roanoke, Michalle applies her deep industry expertise to help clients align insurance coverage with their specific risks—whether it’s protecting financial interests through cargo insurance or mitigating cyber-related losses with tailored cyber policies. She’s known for delivering thoughtful, right-sized solutions that support her clients’ goals.
