In January 2022, Roanoke welcomed Maia Novello as the leader of our national Business Solutions Unit for small to mid-sized clients. Her impact has been significant. She has successfully grown her team to effectively address the comprehensive business requirements of our clients nationwide. Maia’s unwavering focus on optimization, development, and providing exceptional customer service has been instrumental in achieving this growth. 

 

Maia embarked on her career in the insurance industry almost thirty years ago. Initially, she joined a small insurance agency in her home state of North Carolina. Subsequently, Maia transitioned to one of the nation’s top-ten largest insurance brokers. Over seventeen years, she held positions of increasing complexity. Maia played a pivotal role in developing the southeastern territory for their small business sales unit, collaborating closely with over four hundred branch locations. Additionally, she served as a sales manager for their small business production team, nurturing and guiding a diverse group of sales agents.  

 

Maia also excelled as a strategic project manager, implementing book consolidations that resulted in a significant boost in profit sharing. Furthermore, she demonstrated her expertise as a small business centralization manager, spearheading global high impact projects and providing training on centralized processes to the staff. 

Maia is a licensed Property & Casualty producer in forty-eight states. She holds an Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) professional designation.
