ATA Carnet Specifics

COVID-19 UPDATE:

Norwegian Customs is offering two options for goods that are unable to export by the expiration date.

Option 1: Contact your ATA Carnet Service Representative to obtain a Replacement Carnet.

Option 2: The expiry date of the Carnet can be prolonged by one month at a time for the purpose of re-exportation. Holders who have ATA Carnets that are about to expire should send Oslo Chamber of Commerce a request to authorize the re-exportation specifying that the delay is caused by the current epidemic situation.

The data should include the following information and sent to exportdocuments@chamber.no

ATA Carnet number
The name of the holder
Date of validity
Name of the Customs office where the formalities should be accomplished.

ATA Carnet Specifics:

At this time there are no specific requirements for entering Norway on an ATA Carnet.
