ATA Carnet Specifics

As of February 2017, the following information is required to import a horse:

Name/type/age/sex
Value
- Use the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) database as a tool to assist with validation of the value of the horse
Provide a copy of the import documents, if applicable
List the reason(s) for export
If insured, provide a copy of insurance documents, if not, explain why the horse is not insured
