Roanoke Trade and the Airforwarders Association participated in a conference call with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regarding the upcoming deadlines established by MAP- 21 (refer to our July 10, 2012 email communication for further MAP-21 information). Starting with Importer Security Filings (ISF) due on or after July 9, 2013, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will begin to use liquidated damages as an enforcement tool for compliance. For over 3 years, CBP relied on outreach, education, and port examinations for non-compliant ISF Importers.

CoverageDock™ has introduced a new feature! Soon you’ll be able to makes changes to a certificate that is confirmed in CoverageDock™ until such time as you actually print the original document. Presently, any changes you request push the shipment into a referral status. This change will be implemented upon the renewal date of your policy.
