Whether acting as a transportation intermediary, customs broker or a carrier, Terms and Conditions of Service (Ts and Cs) play a vital role in protecting you and your customers. In addition to making all parties aware of their rights and obligations, they also act as a guide to ensure you accept business on terms that you can comply with.

Standard Ts and Cs forms are available for intermediaries, customs brokers and carriers to utilize but these may not be suitable as is for your particular operation. It is essential that the form you choose properly addresses the scope of your operation. Ts and Cs should be considered fluid documents that change as your business does.

In this webinar we will discuss:

  • The basic functions and licensing requirements for agents and carriers
  • Key elements to include in your Ts and Cs
  • What to consider when performing as both agent and carrier
  • The risks of operating without binding Ts and Cs
  • The consequences of deviating from Ts and Cs

Join us as Christoph Wahner and Michael McDaniel, attorneys at law of Countryman and McDaniel, present the ABCs of Ts and Cs on February 1 at 1pm CT.
