FastBond™ Canada Update

We are currently in the final stages of ensuring the readiness of our FastBond™ solution with the CBSA. However, due to the CBSA’s own updates and technical requirements, we must wait for their technical support team’s assistance before we can complete finalization of the process flow. We will notify you as soon as our programming with the CBSA is complete and FastBond™ Canada is ready for deployment.

In the meantime, we recommend delaying the filing of new Release Prior to Payment bonds until the electronic bonding feature is available through FastBond™. Please note that paper bonds sent prior to October 21st are still subject to processing delays of several weeks.

The CBSA is providing a 180-day transition period, allowing importers to continue importing as long as they have a BN15 or are registered in the CARM Client Portal. We will keep you informed of any further updates and developments.
