As Executive Vice President of Roanoke Insurance Group Inc., Sean Walsh is a licensed insurance broker with over 32 years of experience in the industry. He is also an approved Lloyd’s of London coverholder and holds underwriting authority for Munich Re Syndicate, Ltd.

Sean’s current responsibilities include strategic planning and implementation, and overseeing Roanoke’s national sales efforts and underwriting. Sean works with the sales team to orchestrate ‘best-fit’ insurance solutions for customs brokers, freight forwarders and other businesses involved in logistics and transportation. He is an expert customs bond, cargo insurance and liability insurance resource for our clients, and for the various trade-related associations in which he participates.

Prior to joining Roanoke, Sean was a Cargo Claims Adjuster for Fred S. James Insurance Brokers. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s in Business Management. His past responsibilities at Roanoke have included customs bond management, cargo insurance claims, sales and service, and he served as the West Coast Regional Vice President.
