Maya Mackey joined Roanoke in 1998 in the bond department where she spent most of her tenure as bond manager. In 2018, she accepted a position in sales. As bond manager, Maya oversaw customer service support for the Midwest, Baltimore and New England areas and the realm of her responsibility included customs bond underwriting, marketing and customer support for local and national accounts. Maya is a licensed insurance broker in the Commonwealth of Virginia for Property & Casualty Insurance and holds numerous non-resident agent licenses in other states.

Maya’s additional insurance experience included a bond clerk for a local insurance company and a bid bond administrator at a bonding/insurance company in Omaha, Nebraska.
